| Fairy Tales - Crossover 01: A Sailor Soldiers Unexpected Visit! Double Trouble Times Two! Part One |
The sailor soldiers had just transformed and were in the midst of a battle, though the numbers were odd. It was eight against two. However, despite this uneven set of numbers within the teams, the side of evil still had a few tricks up their sleeves and they weren't about to give up with their tail in between their legs.
They couldn't anyway, or else their master would kill them! The girl with dark red hair, dressed in a pair of black casual jeans and a black tank-top, powered up her attack and released a ball of fire from her hands, which was aimed at the senshi before her.
She was bruised and beaten, but she still had enough energy left, and she was very determined to win. The other girl standing next to her was her twin sister, and they were known as M and S. They looked exactly the same, except the only difference was their hair, powers and personality.
Sailor Jupiter jumped out of the way just in time as the large ball of fire from M soared past her and singed her pink bow on the back of her skirt.
With a sneer plastered on her lips, M summoned her most powerful attack while S distracted the senshi and teased them with rude and rather sarcastic remarks. Suddenly, the heavens started to grow dark and the clouds separated.
Sailor Mars was the first to realize this and looked up with worry wrinkles in her forehead. She sensed that something was not right, and it bothered her, but she decided to keep this to herself and continued to battle with the other senshi.
The air behind M began to ripple as if a rock was tossed in a lake. A strange vortex appeared next, followed by a blast of powerful energy and an immense gust of wind.
The startled sailor senshi were overwhelmed by the sudden change in weather and were unprepared as the winds got stronger and the vortex grew larger by the minute. They each found something to grab that was the nearest to them, and held on for their life.
S cackled evilly and laughed at them as they struggled to hold onto the item of their choice.
"Wutcha gonna do now, Sailor Wimps?" She mocked, her eyes glistening with childish laughter. When the Sailor Senshi didn't answer and continued to scream, she laughed even harder at them.
Sailor Gallia held on tightly to Tuxedo Kamen, whom looked a little uncomfortable with two girls holding his waist, literally squeezing the breath out of him. He grabbed onto his tall black top hat and looked down at Sailor Moon. She was screaming so loudly that he was surprised his eardrums hadn't burst yet.
Sailor Gallia's fingers began to loosen their grip on Tuxedo Kamen, and her feet started to move away from their original position on the ground. She wasn't so sure how much longer she could hold on, and she was frightened.
Tuxedo Kamen looked out the corner of his eye and grabbed Sailor Gallia's wrist, but his grip wasn't strong enough to keep her from slipping out of his hold.
"Don't let go!" Sailor Gallia cried, her eyes closed as she fought against the powerful wind.
"I won't!" Tuxedo Kamen replied, though he knew that he couldn't promise her anything. Just as he feared, he lost his grip on Sailor Gallia and she was tossed around into the air like a rag doll.
"Sailor Gallia!" Sailor Chibimoon managed to steady herself and regained her balance. She looked up towards the direction of which Sailor Gallia had gone with wide, horrified eyes.
Time seemed to slow down for a moment as S threw another ball of energy blast straight at her. As Sailor Gallia leaned back and tried to avoid the attack, she felt herself slipping into darkness, falling backwards into the portal...the energy blast hit the portal and as she fell, she heard her teammates screaming in terror.
"Orianna!!!" She heard Sailor Moon shouting.
Then she thought she heard Sailor Jupiter say, "With a portal like that, there's no telling where she'll end up!"
And then it went black.

The auburn haired woman blinked a few times as her eyes re-adjusted themselves to look at items other than the printed words within the book she had just put down beside her on the park bench. Although she would have preferred to continue reading, intuition told her that something was amiss. For several minutes, silence was the only thing that greeted her ears, then a low, scratchy moan came from behind some bushes not far off.
Abandoning her book, the woman cautiously made her way over to the bushes to find the source of the moaning. What she found came as a surprise. An unconscious dark skinned teenager wearing what Gabrielle could only guess was some sort of cheerleader outfit lay uncomfortably on her side.
"Oh my goodness..." Gabrielle gasped as she knelt next to the teenager and gently shook her shoulder. "Can you hear me? Are you in need of assistance?"
Sailor Gallia blinked a few times, trying to regain her composure as she looked up at the auburn haired woman. Shaking her head a few times to clear it, she realized that she was being talked to. She nodded her head and replied with, "Yes, I think I'm alright. Other than a few scrapes and bruises, I feel fine." Sailor Gallia sat up on her knees and looked up at the woman suspiciously. "Who are you, and what happened?"
"My name's Gabrielle. I don't know what happened to you, but I found you just laying here and sounding like you were in pain." Gabrielle said to the teenager. "And you are?"
Sailor Gallia stood up, dusting dirt off of her skirt. She brushed a strand of purple hair behind her left ear. "My name is Sailor Gallia. I would detransform but I can't do it here. Is there a place we could go to where people won't see us?"
"Detransform? Sailor Gallia?" Gabrielle puzzled just above a whisper as she stood up herself. Many questions popped into her mind right then, but the only thing she did was remove her sweater and hand it over to the sailor soldier. "Here. It's a short distance to safety, but there are plenty of people about today."
Sailor Gallia took the sweater. She was starting to wonder where she was and what had happened to herself and her friends. She stared up at Gabrielle and blinked, expecting her to do something. After figuring that Gabrielle was just going to wait, she put the sweater on. "Where are we going?" She asked.
"We're going to a place that's safe from the public's eyes. That is where you wanted to go, right?" Gabrielle said as she went back to the bench to pick up the book before leading Sailor Gallia to the bungalow that she was currently inhabiting.
Sailor Gallia nodded in reply. "Yeah." She followed Gabrielle to the bungalow.
Upon entering the bungalow, Gabrielle pointed down a hallway to a spare room.
"I was beginning to wonder if that room would have a use. Good thing I didn't insist on the smaller homestead. You could stay in that room for as long as needed." Gabrielle said with a polite smile.
Sailor Gallia nodded.
"Thanks, I really appreciate it." Then she closed her eyes and concentrated her energy on detransforming. There was a shower of light, and the pretty sailor soldier in white and purple was replaced with a teenager in black pants, a purple-tank-top, and sandals. For some odd reason, she knew that she could trust Gabrielle. She felt a strange majestic feeling whenever she was around her.
"You do realize that I'm still a stranger to you and even though we just met, I could still blow your cover, right?" Gabrielle simply stated.
"You wouldn't really do that, would you?" Orianna asked a bit nervously.
"No," Gabrielle said as she shook her head. "I would have done so as soon as I saw you if I were that type of person. I know not what your mission is, nor where you come from, but I'm sure of this one thing. I cannot keep calling you Sailor Gallia."
"Right," Orianna nodded. She smiled as she looked at Gabrielle. "My name is Orianna Kamu. My friends tend to call me Oro-chan, though."
"Oro-chan?" Gabrielle asked.
Before an answer came, a sudden blur of white flew past Orianna and almost flew past Gabrielle if she didn't catch it right then. Gabrielle sweatdropped as she looked at the dove getting comfortable in her grasp.
'It is the strangest thing, Gabrielle. I felt this sudden power surge and thought for sure it was a Shifting Wraith. Who is that?' the all to familiar mental voice of Snowbelle cooed only within Gabrielle's mind.
"It's odd. I don't have the slightest clue how this bird got in here, Orianna. There must have been an open window." Gabrielle said out loud to Orianna, hoping that Snowbelle got the message.
"Cute bird. I have a dove myself, and his name is Oreo." Orianna grinned. Then, out of curiosity, she asked, "Is that a weird name for a dove?"
'Her name is Orianna, hmm? Cute name. She has a dove named Oreo? Bwahahaha!' Snowbelle mentally commentated to Gabrielle as he flapped his wings a few times. 'Sounds yummy.'
"Not any more weird than his," Gabrielle said, indicating the dove. "I keep calling him Snowbelle whenever I see him. And it's a good thing these creatures don't vocally speak. I bet they'd have too much to say...and no capability to be quiet long enough to listen."
Orianna giggled as she looked up at Gabrielle. "It seems that we have a few things in common, concerning our pets. " She held out her hand, closed her eyes and smiled, voice soft as usual. "I hope we can be friends. I like you."
"Well, it should be interesting, to say the least." Gabrielle said as she shook Orianna's hand. "So, is there any clues as to how you wound up in an unconscious state behind some bushes?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That should do it. A pair of Shifting Wraiths that are virtually indestructible since they have a redundant give-take energy source between them. One's fueled by giving pain, the other is fueled by receiving pain. Together they shall be able to cause enough cataclysmic damage to be even too much for that retched Heavenly Soldier." Mephistopheles exclaimed excitedly to himself. Upon releasing the two Shifting Wraiths, he laughed maliciously and said, "Go! Go and create havoc, my Sadistic, Masochistic duo!"
With that, the two Wraiths designed by Mephistopheles to represent Sadism and Masochism flew out of the catacombs and began their reign of terror.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"S and M? Man, now I've heard everything. Sadism and Masochism attacking people." Gabrielle mused.
"I have a question. Where exactly are we? I mean, I assume this is planet Earth, but where are we?" Orianna asked.
"Windsor, California." Gabrielle said right before going completely silent, which she always did when she had much to contemplate. She never had heard of the sailor senshi before now. But then again, quite a bit of time had passed in her absence, they could have done their battling and were in the midst of trying to live peaceful lives.
'Gabrielle, the Boss told me that the next mission would be at the water park. What if you and Orianna went there to scope things out and have some free time until it happens?' Snowbelle told Gabrielle.
"Wouldn't work..." Gabrielle muttered in response.
"What wouldn't work?" Orianna asked.
"Taking a break at the local water park. It's called Windsor Water Works & Slides. I imagine that going there wouldn't work for you since you're worried about getting to your proper timeline." Gabrielle mentioned.
"I don't mind at all. In fact, it sounds like fun." Orianna said. She smiled with a giggle. "If everyone were here, they'd say the same thing! I really miss my friends, but maybe going to a park will take my mind off the stress."
'For a girl who was worried about her friends going up against S & M a few moments ago, she sure seems to be able to be easily persuaded to go somewhere else pretty quickly.' Snowbelle mentally commentated.
Gabrielle nodded. Whether it was because of Snowbelle's comment or because of Orianna's, it was a simple gesture to both in Gabrielle's mind.
"Wait here..." she said before heading towards her own room and opened a dresser drawer to pull out two swimming suits.
After sticking the swimming suits, two towels and other assorted items into a duffle bag, Gabrielle absentmindedly fingered her necklace before she walked out the door, with Orianna following her. Getting to the water park took at least thirty minutes via walking with another several minutes waiting in the unexpected long line.
'This doesn't look good. If a Shifting Wraith attacks here and now there'd be too many people to evacuate.' Snowbelle said on his perch on top of the souvenir shop.
Unable to actually respond to Snowbelle's comment, Gabrielle simply looked up from the side of the pool towards him, but also made it seem like she was looking past the shop at the towering waterslides on the other side of the building.
"Orianna, how about we go down some of the slides? I know that there's one that allows for two people to ride down on the same double-tube." Gabrielle said, keeping her eyes on the waterslides.
When Orianna didn't reply, Gabrielle turned and found that Orianna was a hyperventilating mess.
"Orianna?" Gabrielle asked while placing a reassuring hand on the teenager's shoulder. Still without a reaction, she remembered what Orianna said about what her friends called her, so Gabrielle spoke once more, but this time in Japanese. "Oro-chan...daijoubu?"
Orianna looked at Gabrielle, her eyes wide with fear. She shook her head, not realizing that she was talking to her in Japanese. In between quickened breaths she said, "Not okay...scared...people...crowd!!! Can't breathe."
"This was a bad idea bringing you here. I'm sorry. I didn't know that you were ochlophobic. Maybe we should leave." Gabrielle said with a wan smile.
Just as Gabrielle finished re-packing the duffle bag, and was about to guide Orianna out of the water park, a sudden stampede of scared people nearly bowled them over in attempt to leave the water park themselves. Although it greatly reduced the amount of people there, there were still too many people who were curious as to what was going on and stayed to gawk at the two beings that caused the ruckus.
"Trouble, I was afraid of that. Quickly, Orianna! Go into the changing room and transform. I'm going to see if I could get more of these rubberneckers to leave before they get hurt." Gabrielle exclaimed as she slightly pushed Orianna in the direction of the changing room.
Orianna nodded and made her way into the building which was fortunately vacated. After a quick transformation, Sailor Gallia exited from the building and jumped onto the roof to get a better view of the situation. Fortunately, there were even fewer people there as more people realized that they were possibly in the line of fire. It also appeared that Gabrielle had also made it away to safety.
In the middle of the commotion was two creatures that Sailor Gallia had never seen before, yet in a way, they seemed very familiar. Something about the familiarity nagged at her, but for the time being she ignored it. She then took a running jump and landed in front of the two monsters.
"Who are you?" Gallia exclaimed. "And why have you brought havoc to this water park?"
"You are not our boss. We answer to nobody but him. But so that you know who it was that finally brought you down, Sailor Savior, we are Sadism and Masochism. We do what we please, when we want to do it!"
"I don't know who this Sailor Savior is, but I am Sailor Gallia, Soldier of Protection and Guidance for all of the lost souls in the universe. Your defiance will not be tolerated!" Gallia exclaimed as got into a defensive position.
Sadism and Masochism looked at each other and shrugged. There were still two of them compared to only one sailor soldier. The odds were in their favor. With a quick movement, Sadism and Masochism surrounded Sailor Gallia.
"Oh, come on. You can't be telling me that it's that fun to gang up on someone. Show some guts!" called out a voice from the top of the water slides.
"Huh? Who's there?" Masochism called out.
A sudden white blur jumped down and landed next to Sailor Gallia. She wore a one piece white dress, with a purple trim across the chest and around the upper arms. The only thing that Gallia recognized on this newcomer's outfit was the sailor collar. The blunt end of her staff was banged against the ground as Snowbelle circled them all in the air.
'Could she be...?' Gallia thought to herself.
"Sent to Earth by God Himself, I am the heavenly sailor suited soldier of righteousness, Sailor Savior. On behalf of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I will smite the wicked. REPENT!" Sailor Savior said as if responding to Gallia's unspoken question.
"Soul Revolution Renovation!" Gallia called out.
A purple energy chain shot out towards Sadism in attempt to strangle her. Unfortunately, Masochism reacted quickly enough to absorb the attack, the pain of which fueled her to be more stronger. Due to their connection, Sadism also received a power up. Sadism then attempted to attack Gallia, but Sailor Savior thwarted the attack with her Soul Staff. Sailor Gallia then made her own staff materialize. Looking at each other via peripheral sight and nodding once, both sailor soldiers powered up for the offence.
"Asylum's Essence!"
"Redeeming Grace!"
The combined attacks overloaded Sadism and Masochism's binary power system and destroyed the pair of Shifting Wraiths.
"That was too easy..." Sailor Savior murmured.
'Way too easy.' Snowbelle mentally agreed.
"But then, I don't think Mephistopheles was counting on me having an ally. Both of them against me would have been an overload and I think he knew it."
"Mephistopheles? Who is he? What are you talking about? Matter of fact, who're you?" Sailor Gallia said once she caught her second breath.
Sailor Savior sweatdropped as she snapped out of her verbal analysis.
"Yes, an explanation would be helpful. My name in this form is Sailor Savior. However you might know me better as..." Sailor Savior said before pausing just long enough to reverse her transformation. "Gabrielle. Those two things we fought were called Shifting Wraiths. They were created by a vile being called Mephistopheles who is quite determined to take over the world."
"Shifting Wraiths?" Gallia asked, a bit more confused than before. "Didn't they say their names were Sadism and Masochism?"
"Yes, unfortunately. I don't think they're the same two as the ones you described though." Gabrielle said just before Snowbelle landed on her shoulder.
"Wait a sec, I'm confused...If they are not the same then how come their names start with the same letter as the enemies from my dimension?" Sailor Gallia asked, blinking.
"Not only the same first letters, but I'm almost certain that they have the same whole names... S & M.... Sadism and Masochism. Just about the same thing. Except for a few differences. The S & M from here are monsters called Shifting Wraiths created by Mephistopheles. The S & M from your dimension....well, I can't fully say what they are or who they serve since I never seen them and I don't have that type of insider information about them. The more important question would be how to get you back to your timeline." Gabrielle replied.
'I think we better get back to the bungalow. This place is going to get crowded real quickly.' Snowbelle mentioned to Gabrielle.
"We should head back." Gabrielle said to Sailor Gallia. "Otherwise we'll have unwanted company shortly."
"Good idea," Gallia nodded, shuddering at the thought of being surrounded by crowds.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A sudden thunderous crash caught Mephistopheles's attention and nearly had him jumping out of his skin as the saying went.
"What's going on?" he murmured out loud before looking into the mystical portal that allowed him to keep an eye on his Shifting Wraiths. Noticing that his latest creations, Sadism and Masochism, had been annihilated, he teleported the two locator recorders from the scene of their demise to find out what happened.
"Impossible. She formed an alliance with some other sailor soldier?" he exclaimed after reviewing the recordings. "Strange...her power readings are distorted. Like she doesn't belong."
